Danny Leggett

Twenty-five-year-old singer/songwriter Danny Leggett describes his music as “acoustic pop hidden behind folk curtains;” a description fitting for his catchy melodies embedded in honest, intimate lyrics and folk accompaniment. Despite his often-humble delivery, Leggett possesses head-turning talent.  When Leggett’s family made the move from Orlando, FL to Boone, NC, Leggett brushed off his dad’s old classical guitar during his sophomore year of high school and taught himself how to work his way around the steel-stringed instrument. By 2007, he re-rooted back in Orlando, picked up the banjo and began gaining attention while playing local venues. In 2010, Leggett released his debut EP entitled “New Years Eve P.” It was this EP that landed him a gig writing an original track for the major motion picture “Renee" starring Kat Dennings, Chad Michael Murray and Rupert Friend. Leggett will be featured in the film with an on-screen musical performance of his song “The Valley.”
